Purchasing Romney Sheep

ABOUT OUR ROMNEY SHEEP FOR SALE

  • 3L&S Farms is a veterinary certified flock that is FREE of OPP (last tested Spring 2022) 
  • We stand behind our stock 100%... if your purchased sheep or lamb does not grow out as expected, please email Penny to discuss options. 
  • Fertility is guaranteed. If your ewe does not produce offspring by the time she turns 3 year (rams settle ewes fall of their yearling year), please email Penny for replacement / refund options.
  • Breeding Rams availability as listed Mature-proven, Yearlings, Ram lambs
  • Mature Ewes & yearlings and
  • 2025 Lambs starting April 1st. 
  • Get your Name on a waiting list for 2025 Lambs Breeding Stock or Fiber Animals. There is no Deposit required to be on the waiting list. 
  • Please email Penny to place your deposit and arrange pickup.

RESERVING ROMNEY SHEEP STOCK

  • Penny will assist you in selecting breeding stock that will best fit your program and requirements.
  • Once your final selection is made, Penny will email you an invoice via PayPal with deposit due at time of receipt.
  • Deposit is required at the time of reservation and holds you choice of stock.

SHEEP SALE DEPOSITS REQUIRED

  • Deposits are $100 for each unregistered breeding animal or fiber animal/ $200 for each registered ram or ewe. 
  • Deposit paid is applied to the total amount of your invoice.
  • Deposits are not refundable.
  • Deposits are automatically forfeited on September 1st, 2025 for any reserved rams or ram lambs that remain on 3L&S premisses, without prior written consent from Penny.
  • Forfeited deposits may be applied to future purchases from 3L&S LESS expenses incurred by seller for veterinary expenses, or other expenses or losses incurred by the seller, such as feed and care.
  • By paying a deposit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions on the invoice (also outlined here, above and below).
  • 10% discount for 3 to 4 sheep.
  • 15% discount for 5+ sheep.

PICKUP/TRANSPORTATION OF YOUR ROMNEY SHEEP

  • Invoice must be paid in full at or before pickup.
  • Transportation arrangements are the ultimate responsibility of the buyer, though Penny is happy to assist you in finding suitable transport.

  • Transportation costs/expenses/fees are the sole responsibility of the the buyer.

  • Any blood testing for sheep diseases (outside of our routine annual flock testing, such as the buyer wanting their individual sheep blood tested) can be performed by Countryside Veterinary Clinic (Cement MI) and is a the sole expense of the buyer.
